Our focus areas include:

Science communication and public engagement

We’ve been part of the European Researchers’ Night 2020 in the Republic of Moldova, a European Union initiative funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, which aims to bring researchers closer to the general public, demonstrate the diversity and impact of science, and motivate young people to choose a research career.

Increasing visibility of research organisations

We are providing consulting to research organisations in terms of increasing their online visibility and employing various digital promotion tools, e.g. optimising websites, incorporating Open Science practices into their workflows etc.

Developing capacity building resources

We are committed to developing capacity building resources, aimed at enhancing digital skills of researchers and  equipping researchers with skills for Open Science practices:

  • ICT and English language courses delivered to students (2005-2006), aimed at empowering and enabling them for academic mobility;
  • 10 hour training course “Open Science: from Open Access to Open Scholarly Communication”, as part of the H2020 NanoMedTwin project, delivered to over 40 participants;
  • “ICT for research” courses delivered to PhD students at the State University “D.Cantemir” (now part of the State University of Moldova).

Designing and running communication and dissemination campaigns

We have vast experience developing and carrying out communication and dissemination campaigns, including developing and monitoring communication strategies, content creation services. We’ve helped these international projects develop efficient and elegant visual content and make themselves heard, by disseminating their results and achievement.

  • NanoMedTwin project, funded by the EC under H2020, 2018-2021
  • Capacity development support for statisticians and data users on both banks of Nistru River, funded by UNDP, 2016-2017
  • Data Revolution Ecosystem Mapping in the Republic of Moldova project, funded by UNDP, 2016
  • MOLD-ERA project, funded by the EC under FP7, 2010-2013

Capacity building for Open Science

Based on the premise that Open Science skills are increasingly essential for researchers to undertake responsible research and innovation, InfoGroup is dedicated to supporting research organizations and universities in providing practical guidance and training for promoting and implementing Open Access and Open Science.
